What Does the Death Card Really Mean?

Each card has its own meaning. A lot of people see the death card and think the worst is going to happen. However, that’s not necessarily the case. The death card in the upright position means a transformation in your life. This signifies letting go of your past to start something new. New changes can be a scary thing. Relating to your career, it may mean that it’s time to switch careers and welcome new opportunities. If you’re frustrated in your current career, it’s time to switch things up. It’s very easy to be stuck in your ways and it can feel impossible to escape.

When it comes to the financial side of things, the death card usually signifies loss. This could range from financial loss to learning how to adapt to financial situations. Whatever it may be, this will be a time of transformation, as you adjust your life to the new changes coming your way. 

Reversed

A reversed death card signifies that you’re resisting the changes in your life. When we hold on to the things in life that aren’t good for us, we limit and trap ourselves in this bubble that we feel like we can’t escape from. 

Change happens whether you’re ready for it or not, so you need to learn acceptance and adaptability to the changes coming your way. You never know what might come out of it. A lot of victory and success happens when we take that leap of faith and make a change.
